Monstrous reminder "bar"

Hey. Just now after booting, I was greeted with this monstrous reminder message (image attached).

My guess is it has something to do with special characters in the item text, maybe the Ampersand? The text is:

"Do, 7.7, 9-16 Uhr Geschirr @MZH-V-Fro abholen (Abschlussfeier ASV) <-> voher kurz anrufen: name, phone number (7h) "

Thanks!

Forcing only one Tag?

The advantage with Tags is that an item can have several Tags (e.g. from a Tag branch).
However, I sometimes would like to force it to use only one Tag from a branch. Thus, when I select a specific Tag, any other Tags would get removed.
For example in a branch I may only select one of: Do, In-Progress, Done.

I know I can do this with a drop-down list, but I wonder if it is also possible to do with Tags? Maybe with a script?

Edited for clarification.

Jumping Grid

I have a grid with many items with the item text is of varying lengths. I am not sure if relevant, but they are all hyperlinks.
If I scroll towards the bottom of the grid and try to edit a Tag value by hitting the space bar, the whole grid scrolls up a few lines and the bullet labels disappear.
If I next click outside the grid, the bullets reappear. If I next click on the Tag field again, the Grid scrolls down.

If I make the text column wider so that most items do not wrap the text anymore, the jumping stops (but the bullets still disappear/reappear)

Closing item event dialog after having opened reminder dialog send IQ window to background

Closing item event dialog after having opened reminder dialog (and having changed a reminder setting) sends IQ window to background

Also, I think an 'X' button next to the reminder text boxes (where you put 1d, 2w etc.) to quickly clear the entire box would be useful.

Many thanks!

Calendar events temporarily hidden on format change

To reproduce: Change the font colour of a calendar event -> event disappears from view (I use a 5-day vertical arrangement, haven't checked if the same occurs with other calendar formats) ->  click around / scroll through the calendar a bit and the event reappears.

Small issue but with a potentially significant impact as one might occasionally miss an appointment.

Cheers

Show All Subitems shows only first level subitems?

Submitted by jimspoon on 2022/06/08 14:27

When I have an item focused and then Show All Subitems (either from Item menu or context menu) to show subitems that don't meet the source bar filter, only the first-level subitems are then displayed.  The first-level subitems can't be expanded to show the lower level subitems that don't meet the filter.  Instead, I have to focus each first-level subitem and select Show All Items again to show the next level of subitems that don't meet the filter.  Is this the way it's supposed to work?  I was thinking that Show All Subitems would show all the levels of subitems under the focused item; or a

Deletion bug (?)

  1. In the attached database, open the "DeletionTest" grid.
  2. Click on "ChildItem2" (IDItem #1755)
  3. Press Ctrl+D (delete item)
  4. From the available options, choose the second one ("Remove from this location only | Action: Remove from Current grid")
  5. Upon completing the above steps, the Item text for "ChildItem2" is unexpectedly deleted (rendered blank). This can be seen, for example, if you click on the "IDItem" grid and look at IDItem #1755.

This must be a bug, right?
