Would it be possible to add a "lock tab position" setting that would block tab movement?
I have set positions for my tabs so I can go to them without thinking. This is spoiled by the fact that tabs are constantly drifting up and down and have to be manually adjusted several times a day.
I brought this up in March but it's been going on for years. You said you've never seen it so I understand you can't directly "fix" it but is there an alternative way to stop the constant movement?

I can look into this. Just to remind me, the Drag-Drop Tabs setting is unchecked and tabs still move, it that the case ?

Pierre,
Could have sworn we tried this in the past but I see that they ARE checked right now so let me try that before you do anything.
I'll check back.

I’ve been experimenting with…
I’ve been experimenting with the tab set functionality in the nav bar following a discussion with Pierre, and I wanted to share a useful workflow for those looking to manage their browser workspace more effectively.
Pierre pointed out that you can store your current tab sets directly in the nav bar, allowing you to quickly clear your screen and restore specific sets as needed. It’s a great way to declutter without losing your place.
There is one notable caveat to be aware of: when you restore a saved tab set, they currently populate in reverse order.
Pierre mentioned that he is looking into this behavior, but in the meantime, I’ve found a simple, reliable workaround: If you manually save your tab set in reverse order, they will restore in the exact configuration you want. It takes a few extra seconds to arrange them before saving, but it keeps the workflow seamless until a fix is implemented.
Has anyone else found a better way to handle this, or does this workaround work for your current setup?

Max,
Thanks for the tip.
I use a "Grids" grid to open my grids. My first thought was to put grid sets there and open them with a link for each. It appears that:
1) You cannot open a series of grids with one link. You can do that with individual items but not grids (at least I couldn't get it to work)
2) Tried using the grid ID numbers but that doesn't work at all in links. It only responds to the grid name.
I thought it'd be easy enough to create a grid set using individual links like this:
Though it requires a separate click for each grid I figured I could open 5 grids in 2-3 seconds. But it doesn't work because when you launch each grid, it takes you to that grid, which slows things down enormously.

Hi Wayne, If you use Grid…
Hi Wayne,
If you use Grid Group, both the Properties pane and the NavBar allow you to open/close all grids in a group.
I tend to use Dashboards to open many grids at once.
YMMV !
