reciprocal fields

Just getting started with Related Items.  Just as an example, I have a grid listing my flash memory cards, and other grids showing lists of devices in which the cards can be installed.  In my grid of flash memory cards, I'd like to be able to see the device in which each card is installed; and in my grids containing lists of devices, I'd like to be able to see the flash memory card it has installed.  Ideally, the Flash Memory Cards grid would have an "Installed In" column, and the Device Grids would have an "Installed Memory Card" column, but it would be reciprocal, e.g.

"Current Column Set" form

Working in a grid on a laptop, wanting to make sure that I have appropriate data entered in the columns in the current column set.  But I've got the columns resized too narrowly, can't see the column label.  At this point I think it would be really handy to have all the current columns.in a form.  I found that I can right-click the Grid tab > Manage Forms, which takes me the current grid in the Manage Forms dialog.  I can right-click that grid in the list and then Save Columns as Form.  Seems like it might be a good idea to have "Current Column Set" as a selectable form in the Properties

Collapsing outline

Example:

1) I have a long outline with different sections expanded to different levels.

2) I want to select a section of the outline and collapse it to one level, while leaving the rest of the outline unaffected.

3) Select items>ctrl-left arrow

4) This collapses only the first or last item in the selected list.  Remaining items remain expanded.

Shouldn't this method work for expanding/collapsing sections of an outline?

open non-IQ opml files by default?

I know we can import OPML files into Infoqube into an existing IQ database, and that's great, but you might consider enabling IQ to become a default viewer/editor for OPML files.  Right now there doesn't seem to be a good modern app for this purpose -

Include an option to add a second indication that an item is a parent to the right of that item

I know there are the open / close icons to the left of items already but personally, I'd appreciate a second visual indication at the other end that there are child items currently not visible. Would it be possible to add something like a '+' character or '...' at the end of the text displayed for an item when it is the parent of a folded subtree?

I think it would make outlines a good deal more readable

Many thanks!

A more powerful LOCK

Suggestion.

A more powerful lock option. Currently lock prevents deletion.

A more powerful lock feature would prevent an item being moved .

Sometimes I have outlines that have dependencies above and below on the outline.

I would like to be able lock them as they are  (but still allow editing)

Something akin to making a editable PDF of the outline.

return to same grid after reload from sync folder

It would be good if after reloading the latest version database from the sync folder, IQ would return to the same tab and display the same grid I was on, with the same subitem display and expansion state.  Maybe it does so for other grids, but it didn't for the Search grid.  After reloading, it went to some other tab.  The Search grid tab was still there, and after clicking it, it was displaying the same items as before, but I had to refresh the grid, and also do right-click, Sub-Items, Show All Sub-Items.

Wrapping shouldn't change when entering edit mode in grid

Here is a long-standing minor issue that keeps coming up for me. Let's say I am using a grid with columns, and I have a long paragraph of text in the 'Item' field. (This often happens when importing text, for example.) I scan through the paragraph, and decide where I want to split the item. I double-click to enter edit mode, but upon doing so, the wrapping/spacing of the paragraph changes, so I have to search again for the place where I had decided to split.
