How do you search in the online user manual?  If I use the search tool, it only shows threads with the word, not user manual entries.

Also was unable to get Google site search to work.

If not a keyword search, maybe an alphabetical index of topics?

Right now, if the word doesn't show up on the home page, I have to resort to flipping through manual sections trying to figure out where it is.

The advantage with Tags is that an item can have several Tags (e.g. from a Tag branch).
However, I sometimes would like to force it to use only one Tag from a branch. Thus, when I select a specific Tag, any other Tags would get removed.
For example in a branch I may only select one of: Do, In-Progress, Done.

I know I can do this with a drop-down list, but I wonder if it is also possible to do with Tags? Maybe with a script?

I want to create a link to a pdf that will still work if the file is moved.  I've done this many times before but I can't get it to work now.

InfoQube created a link in the InfoQube docs file.  That link works correctly when launched directly from the Windows file manager

But when I double-click on the link in the item URL field in InfoQube, I get an error message from my PDF program saying it's an unsupported file type (or I get no response at all).

Why would the link work correctly from within the file manager but not from within InfoQube?

How do I formulate a filter so that it will show all items in a grid that are marked done on that date or not yet marked done, and hide all items that are marked done yesterday or before?

Not sure if this is a How To, a Bug or a Feature request...

I am using Tags as source in many Grids.
I started renaming some Tags and noticed that the Grid source Tags were not updated.
Thus, I have to search my Grids to find those that are using the renamed Tags and change them there as well.
I tested with fields and the situation is the same there..

Is this as intended? If so, I would suggested that the Tags are renamed everywhere when they are changed in the Tags Grid or Pane.

p.s. Folders are renamed everywhere in Ecco

When I use the group-by sort to organize items by tag assignments, I do not get the result I want.

For example:

Item-1 is tagged "Topic1"

Item-2 is tagged "Topic2"

Item-3 is tagged "Topic1" and "Topic2".

Now open the group-by sort bar, and drag the tags column onto the sort bar.  This groups the items by tag assignments.   I expect to see this:

Tag: Topic1

Item-1

Item-3

Tag: Topic2

Item-2

Say I have an item with four children. Child 1 is plain text, children 2-4 are active hyperlinks to URLs. Is there an easy way to move the 4 subitems into the HTML text associated with the parent item, retaining the active links on items 2-4?

I tried selecting all items, then copy (with different copy options) and paste into the item editor but that would paste only the descriptions of the hyperlinks. Also tried drag and drop to the document pane without success.

Sorry for the newbie question, but when running a search, how do I get the search terms to be highlighted in the associated HTML pane or in a search results field?

I am still on the wrong side of the learning curve, and when trying to learn a new step or procedure, it can be frustrating to find the desired information inside of a lengthy HTML pane without highlight.

Is there some way to do this?

Is there a way to import bookmarks from Firefox?  Couldn't find anything in the manual.

I see that Firefox provides an HTML export but I don't know if that would help the process.

Right now I'm having to do each bookmark manually which is tedious, to say the least.  I can't even drag the bookmark directly into InfoQube because it doesn't capture the title (comes up "Library" each time).  I also need to capture the date the bookmark was added, which I'm adding manually right now.

Any ideas to shorten the process in any way would be appreciated.

1. In a previous version, the Taskbar popup was closed by clicking on the window top, but not when clicking on the Item link (URI). Currently the popup is closed when clicking on the item link. I preferred the previous behavior.

2. I can't see a snooze button with the dialogue notification. I assume that this is still in the works?

3. When I use the dialogue notification it states "List of active reminders". However, only the current reminder is shown.
