Clicking Alt or Shift Keys Scrolls up Doc Pane

I am not sure if this is a bug or by design. If by design, I suggested it to be changed (or to have an option):
I have long Doc Panes.
Example 1:
I have a doc pane attached to the main UI.
1. I put the cursor close to the top in the doc pane.
2. I scroll down to read something in the doc pane.
3. I click Alt key; e.g Alt-Tab to switch application
=> The doc pane scrolls up, and I need to search again for where I was reading in the doc pane

Can't Paste Into Doc Pane

I just upgraded from v1.124.6 to v1.127.1 and got a new issue.
If I create a new item, with a doc pane, I can paste items into the doc pane. I can also insert a date/time stamp.
However, if I navigate away and back to this item, I can no longer perform a paste or insert a date/time stamp.

If I try to copy/paste from Notepad, nothing happens; If I try to copy/paste from another doc pane, I get the popup asking what format to paste, but then nothing is pasted (e.g after selecting plain text).

Sorting anomaly (I think)

I select several items in a column.
I right click to get the context menu and select sort (ascending or descending) Works fine

However
If I try the same sort with the menu .COLUMN - SORT - ASCENDING  (or DESCENDING)  Nothing happens. No effect
I'd like to add a sort button to my custom bar but it seems not possible as the menu choice is not working (I think)

Any help appreciated.

Thunderbird link opens Outlook

I have switched from Outlook to Thunderbird (actually Betterbird) and use an extension that creates links to selected messages. The link looks like this:

thunderlink://messageid=684f0a63aaea3_1234a185110c2@deployment-background-default-857f9f5679-m8…

If I add this link to Office, e.g. Excel, and click on the link, it opens my selected message. However, when I add the link to IQ, and click on the link, it tries to open Outlook.

hierarchical data import fails to import indented lines

Attached file sample.txt contains text.  Each line is tab-indented to the appropriate outline level.

Clicked File > Import > Hierarchical Data.  Loaded sample.txt.  IQ says "File type is: Tab Indented".

Under Import Options, selected 1.  "Add all items to grid: Main2".

Clicked Import button - only unindented items were imported.  No indented items were imported.

Also tried "Option 2. Add all items to field: main".  Clicked import again, only unindented items were imported, no indented items were imported.

A problem with using "find" in the doc pane.

When I use "find" in the doc pane with an ordinary document, there are the following problems:

a) It doesn't work in browse mode, only edit mode. In browse mode, the "find" dialogue box opens, but instead of finding something, it just closes. (Edit: I see now it will highlight all places with the term to be found, but it won't move there, so the highlighted terms might not even be visible. Moreover, once one exits the find dialogue, the highlight vanishes.)
