Outlook linking is not working in InfoQube0.9.26PreRel26

Submitted by plp on 2014/05/15 19:14
Tried dragging an email from Outlook 2013 into a grid item, it turns blue, shows the message notification and ID# and seems to be a link but single clicking/double clicking/ctrl + click does nothing. Copy just copies the header text not a link. I even tried dragging into the hyperlink box but still nothing. It acts the same as it did in InfoQube0.9.26PreRel25, it looks like a link but does not open the link like with Thunderbird and does not show the body of the email in the html pane.

Calendar pop-up reminders not working

Submitted by plp on 2014/05/15 18:15
I do not receive any alerts for the reminders I have added in the calendar by choosing the show in calendar option and adding dates and times. I have also tried adding events with time directly in the calendar just to test but the time passes and nothing happens. Also some of the calendar items do not show text just a line of red dots. Am I supposed to do something else to receive an alert?

[FIXED] Unable to open a file in 26

Submitted by Jon on 2014/05/15 09:11
This never happened before and I hope that it is not due to something embarrassingly STUPID on my part.

With a fresh install of 26 Portable (that is I deleted all of 25 and then unzipped 26 rather than overwrite), I click on File but with the exception of New and Exit, all options are greyed out. Using the menu, I cannot open any existing files.

InfoQube Version 0.9.26Pre-Rel25 keeps crashing while trying to remove fields

Submitted by plp on 2014/05/12 16:07
Today InfoQube Version 0.9.26Pre-Rel25 crashing constantly while trying to remove some fields from AdrsBook.  Have tried repair database and restarting program and windows 8.  So far has happened only in the AdrsBook grid.  Anything else I can try?  Please do not suggest starting a new database, this is my 4th one, importing information did not work, and so am now manually adding real data that I want to keep.  I am slowly learning InfoQube, it does take a lot of reading, searching and actual using, but so far I love it, it is so much like Ecco with added usage.

using iq with dropbox - conflicted copies

Submitted by jimspoon on 2014/05/12 14:26
Suppose I use IQ on both desktop and laptop, with my IQ database in a dropbox folder.  Suppose I load an IQ database into IQ on the desktop, and then open the same database into IQ on the laptop, without first closing the database on the desktop.  I make a modification to the database on the laptop.  Won't this always produce two copies of the database in the Dropbox, one of them being labeled as the laptop's "conflicted copy"?

If I am right about this - is there a way to make IQ "dropbox aware" so that the changes made on the laptop are integrated into the database on the desktop?  Or perhaps - if I do produce two conflicted copies of the same database, can IQ be made to reconcile them?  Would be a great feature I think.

Errr... how do I print?

Submitted by gregory on 2014/05/12 03:29
Hello.

A really basic question, and once again I know it's my fault...

But how can you print from IQ?

In a grid or in calendar, you can do a print preview. But how do you "commit" the print, send it to a real printer? The manual does not help me here.

Thanks for any help.
