It uses Thunderbird extensions

I installed IQ extension for Postbox but it did nothing.

I've got to think it's a simple tweak  but what do I know?

 

If you can make the IQ extension work in the program, that would be great.

My steps:

 

drag/drop ".doc" file onto grid, select html pane

drag/drop "pdf" file onto grid, select html pane

 

In both cases, item link works like windows link, opening exe connected to file type. 

 

Shouldn't I be able to see these file types + others in my HTML pane?

 When I searched the data base for all the Jibz items explaining how / where to install / unzip the offline Help File, there were several pages of interest. However all links lead to untitled pages reporting error & no information. Server problem maybe? 

 

Meantime, can someone either tell me or direct me to instructions for d/l off line help CHM file, where to install it, etc. Thanks.

IQ is eating my PDFs: I'll browse files that are as big as 80MB, close the programme, and then when I restart to browse, I'll get this message:

 

 

 

I don't know what that means. When I navigate to the file, I find a corrupted remnant with the exact same name (no temporary-file % figures or anything) which is always precisely 246 bytes and unopenable. Wow!

I find that I must return to W5 once again. these are the problem I am experiencing, but NOT with W5.

 

1. One of my grids will absolutely not  open in any reasonable length of time. In W5, the grid will load and open in less than 10 seconds. I thought this grid caused W8 to crash, but after several failed attempt to open this grid, I let it run. About 5 MINUTES later it loaded and opened. Yes, I tried repairing the database to no avail.

 

This grid contains several items with multiple parents, full hierarchy, and context parents active. W5 does not choke on this grid. W8 does.

 

2. There are 62 TLIs in a different grid. All but six contain several (more than 5) sub items. In W5, I can fully collapse (CTRL 1) and fully expand (CTRL 9) at will and have the grid correctly displayed. However, in W8 I have this problem. CTRL 9 will expand the grid as expected.

possible bug, this has been around for several vers. and the bottom of each toolbar is either cut off or all of the icons are floated down below center. The text menu is fine but all the rest, the tops of the icons are at about 2.5 down if you use the 3dot handle as a guage.

The installer installed the new InfoQube files into a new directory rather than over riding my existing files. Which files do I copy over from the old installation to the new installation to maintain my old configurations. Thanks

I'm a total noob with Filters - have two set ones that I regularly use, apart from that I only use the column filters.

 

Am I doing samething wrong here?

When I eventually found "Filter applies to sub-items" I set that to on (is there a reason it's not on by default in a new file?)

"Temporary" field is shown as Tmp in the grid.

 

 

I apply filter: Temporary is null

Item "Testing" is correctly hidden, but why are all the subitems hidden?
