item links dialog - make available in Properties pane All Fields
I would like to be able to type [[ in a field in the All Fields section to insert a link to an item.

For when re-sorting lots of items under different parent, I find that grids are often not very responsive and the items feel slow to move. When I try to use key repeat, say when I want to move an item up by ten spots, the keyboard buffer is quickly filled up with stored Alt-Up commands but IQ takes a long time to process each command so it often gets stuck in some kind of loop and the item moves upward several times more than intended, with IQ often becoming unresponsive for several seconds.
I haven't seen text touch-ups brought up in a while. It's my #1 new feature I'd like to see because, for me, it would make daily work faster and smoother (I use text highlighting extensively).
It doesn't even have to be full text touch-ups. I'd be happy if I could just make a tool for text backcolor. It's easy to add other formatting because there are existing tools for them (bold etc).
I'm imagining something like a 'breadcrumb path' where I could click on any parent, grandparent etc. to change the hoist view to that item, or failing that a basic 'go to parent' button as with folders in a file explorer. Thanks!
I have items that contain a significant amount of text, and when viewing those items in a Grid the text is truncated (showing only the first ~2000 characters). If I double-click on the item, then I can see/edit all text in the item.
Would it be possible to allow adjustment of this behavior (e.g. setting truncation to another text length or disabling truncation altogether)?
Thanks for considering this request.
In the grid, when I select a blank item and press CTRL-v to paste a file link or URL directly into the item (without first entering edit mode), no active hyperlink results. Could this be made to work? I often have items that are file links or URLs only and would rather not have to enter edit mode first and have to type more stuff after pasting for a hyperlink to be created.
Feature request:
Current behavior: If I double-click the name of a Tag in the Tags pane, then the IQ content tagged with that particular Tag opens in a Scratch tab for viewing. Unfortunately, if I have one or more Scratch tabs already open (containing other content), then this action replaces the content in one of my already-open Scratch tabs (no data are lost; I just lose the view of the previous content, and I have to recall what content I had been viewing in that Scratch tab).
Feature request:
Current behavior: If I have multiple Scratch tabs open in IQ (each containing different content), when I close and reopen IQ, the Scratch tabs reopen (the same number of Scratch tabs) but the Scratch tabs all contain the same content (which is the content of one of the Scratch tabs prior to closing IQ). The net result is that I am not able to discern what content had been open in the other Scratch tabs (prior to closing IQ).
Hi. Just noticed again that you can't scroll from one year into another on the calendar with the mouse wheel, nor is it possible via the +day or +week buttons, only at month scale. Is this by design? Thanks!
Suggestion: add "created date" and "modified date" to Field Properties display.
Sample uses:
1) To find a field you created or changed recently but can't remember the name.
2) To provide a clue to the purpose of a field (eg you can sort by date to see that it was part of a group of fields created for a specific purpose).
