I'd like to see the "Other Fields" from the Add Item dialogue available via the item context menu. It is great when creating new items, to assign them to grids, and would be especially useful to me to be able to reassign existing items (especially the overflowing inbox).

And it looks even more useful now that I discovered there is a "Filter For:" button there; I'd never noticed that til now.

You can use the properties pane to access those field... :
  1. Uncheck Auto-Close
  2. Add you item
  3. Ensure the Sync Properties is checked
  4. Make changes to the item using the Properties Pane
p.s. An integrated item add/edit dialog is coming... which will revolutionize (and simplify) how item editing is done. Hopefully before the end of 2009

Hi Pierre,
I'm trying to catch up on updates after a break
This sounds great but not working here:   EDIT - I misunderstood #2 - when I click 'Add Item' it then syncs

Win+N [new item]
1) ok
2) I add text to 'Item text'
3) when this is checked the properties pane shows info of the last added item (in this case a web link)
 - when it is unchecked it shows currently selected item in the grid

So it is one item behind . .
