I downloaded the WelcometoIQ database, set up remote sync, and did Tools > Database Management > Remote Database Sync.  Some new content downloaded, but the latest IQDocDate I see in the file is 3/2/21.  The online forum "Book Page" posts indicate that there have been many manual page updates since then.  Do I need to do something to get all pages up to date?  Should I delete the date in the "<LastUpdate>20210302T123109</LastUpdate>" line in the SQLSynchIQDoc.xml file? (odd that it still shows that date after I did a sync?).  OK, I tried that, and did a remote sync.  More changes were downloaded this time, I guess all the manual pages.  The XML file again shows <LastUpdate>20210302T123109</LastUpdate>.  I also trying clicking the icon in the "Link" column in the IQDocs grid, for the "Smart Fields" item.  The address bar in Chrome shows "https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/986" but the Smart Fields page is not shown, it's just the Home page of the Community site.  The correct URL for the Smart Fields page online is "https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/node/986".

Maybe this will help - I notice the Auto-Assignment rule for the IQDocNID is "AM:[URL]="https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/?q=node/" & [IQDocNID]
E:[URL]="

I changed that to "AM:[URL]="https://infoqubeim.com/drupal5/node/" & [IQDocNID] | E:[URL]=".

If I change the value of the URL for the Smart Fields item so that it shows "node/986" instead of "?q=node/986", then at least the Link icon will work and takes me to the Smart Fields page in Chrome.

Ah, there they are in my C:\Infoqube\AppFiles folder - Welcome.SNDB and SQLSynchIQDoc.xml.  In this SNDB the latest IQDocDate is 05/09/23.  But to my surprise the "Sync Config file" setting (2.4.9.2) points not to that AppFiles folder, but to "C:\XPShared\InfoQube\Current\AppFiles\SQLSynchIQDoc.xml".  I did a sync just to see what would happen - a small gray box flashed on the screen, so maybe some change was made.  But the latest IQDocDate is 05/09/23.

I just tried the sync myself and it failed.

Like jimspoon, I had to update the path to the SQLSynchIQDoc.xml file. Then I had to give it permission to pass the Windows firewall.

Then I got the error message "Database connection OK but SQL query failed."

Hi Jim,

Sorry this post fell in the cracks

I downloaded the WelcometoIQ database

That was the issue. Use the one that comes with each released version (File > Welcome to IQ). I removed the link to that outdated IQBase.

@Cyganet, perhaps this is also the cause of the DB connection failure. Try with the latest Welcome to IQ.

p.s. If using the installable flavor, it is required to copy the IQBase first or use File > New > Welcome and save it in a non-protected folder
