Had another incident of multiple items suddenly disappearing from a grid while I was in the process of reorganizing.

I'm not worried about getting them back because I have backups.  But first I tried to recover them from within the file and ran into something I can't understand.

I found one of the items using Live Search.  It gave the grid assignment for the item, but when I go to that grid and apply a column filter, it's not found.

I'm trying to understand why it doesn't show up in its assigned grid.

Minor side question: when I click on the item's parent in the properties pane, it shows an infinite regression of subitems.

See attached pdf.

Hi Wayne,

2 things:

  1. Column filter: turn it off to see the item. Your filter is "panes" and the text is not just "panes". Enter *panes* if you want the filter to show it or change the filter option to be something other than "Exact String"
  2. Recursion: This is supported. Simply break the loop by removing the parent from the parent item (can do this in the Properties pane)

If you have found the item in the Live-Search, the item is not lost. It is simply not shown in a particular grid
