Created a second database recently for work besides my general todo / projects / knowledge file. Turns out, many settings have reverted to default. Is there an easy way to copy all the options from my main database? Maybe just copy the .ini file and rename it - or would that be harmful?

Are all the settings in Tools > Options > This Database ?
If yes, you could make a copy of your main database, erase all items and rename the file to have a .SNTemplate extension. That way, you'd be able to use it as a blank IQBase. It would show up in the IQ File > New > ... menu list
