Version v117. Scenario:

1) I have one item (row) selected under IQ, I paste content that contains multiple lines (e.g. 9 lines), and I choose "2- Paste all lines into selected item(s). 8 new items will be created".

2) The paste is successful and initially appears in the proper order, reflecting the order of the original content as copied.

3) I press F5 to refresh the view. The first item of the paste moves to the bottom, below the 8 new items that were created during the paste. The 8 new items remain in proper order.

I can manually drag and drop the item back into position, and it will stay in that (proper) position when I press F5.

Comments

Refreshing a grid re-sorts the items according to the current grid sort criteria.  I would check to see if that top line is being placed at the bottom because of the grid sort criteria.

Hi dderkits,

If you can provide a screenshot of the grid (with the "standard" toolbar showing), it would help to determine the cause of this.

Thanks

Thanks all! Since it seems to be something particular about my configuration, I'll try troubleshooting a few things over the next few days (need to find some free time). Some quick thoughts: sorting is not enabled; I am using "Conditional Formats" on the "Item" field, but deactivating those conditional formats (unclicking the checkboxes) doesn't seem to make a difference. I'll get a screenshot posted.
